Book of Cemeteries
There is a lot of valuable information contained in The Book of Cemeteries, which contains the collected work of early local historians who meticulously documented the information from 21 cemeteries in southern Washington County.
The volume offers a glimpse into the lives of those who once inhabited this area. It reminds us of the hardships and sacrifices they had to make to support themselves and their families. It is more than just a list of names and dates, as it illustrates the rich history and culture of the region as a whole.
